Our My Feelings and Me Programme

My Feelings and Me is an NHS and council backed and funded intervention. It is also offered via sponsorship from other organisations/businesses to enable the programme to be offered to more schools’ majority funded.

My Feelings and Me is an proactive early intervention mental health education programme. This programme educates children about their feelings.

Over six hourly sessions children will learn ways to help them:

  • Identify and manage their feelings.
  • Develop ways to deal with difficult situations.
  • Build on their self-esteem and self-worth

The programme can be offered to groups of 10 young people, in the same sessions, led by Helen and Becky.

Why Groups?

One of Bee Well Together core values is for everyone to feel included and not alone, as mental health can feel isolating. The aim of our group sessions are to eradicate feelings of loneliness by individuals being able to feel a sense of community and belonging, because by coming together we can make a difference.

Our groups and workshops are bespoke to meet individuals' needs. Therefore, we are able to cover a variety of topics and would be happy to discuss any requirements you may have.

At Bee Well Together we are aware of the limited support for neurodiversity and are able to adapt workshops and group sessions for these individuals and their families.

I am delighted that we have had Helen and Becky twice now. They are so approachable, so knowledgeable and really accommodating to the needs of the school and pupils attending. I cannot recommend this team and their work enough as it has had a direct impact on our pupils, and I am so appreciative of this. I will definitely be looking to have them back again next year (more than once) if they have space for us.

Thank you for the work you do and the way in which you do it. Your service is very much needed right now, and you make a difference to the children you support – thank you from all of us here.

Becky and Helen have been very accessible throughout their time in school. From the initial consultation they were supportive towards staff and children. They have answered all questions promptly and given advice to staff when we have needed it.

Thank you for helping me to understand that everything I feel is normal.

My child really enjoyed attending the group each week. It was a lovely space for her to be open about how she was feeling but to also feel reassured that she is not alone with her feelings.
