Welcome to

Bee Well Together

Bee Well Together CIC is making a direct impact on the lives of individuals within our community by prioritising proactive mental health education and support. We focus on mental health rather than wellbeing, as we believe health - both mental and physical -is essential for all. Everyone has mental health, just as we all have physical health.

We offer a bespoke service tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals in the West Midlands, providing therapeutic group support and workshops designed to foster emotional resilience and mental health support.

In addition to our community services, Bee Well Together also offers in-person mental health workshops for employees. Our sessions can be delivered in schools, workplaces, or community settings, providing valuable support to diverse groups.

Our mission is to be the partner of choice for educational institutions, community organisations, and policymakers, delivering high-quality mental health education to children, young people, and their families.

Our vision is for every child and young person to have access to comprehensive mental health education, creating a society that is inclusive, skilled, and equipped to address mental health needs. We aspire to build a community where young people are empowered to express their mental health needs and receive the support they deserve.

At Bee Well Together, we empower our community to bee seen and heard, because by coming together we can make a difference.

Our Aims

  • To ensure children and young people’s mental health needs are met.

  • To empower and upskill children/young people and their families regarding their mental health.
  • To offer a variety of interventions to suit the diverse population that we serve.

Our Values

  • Innovative – we will ensure that we continue to offer services that are diverse, and evidence-based.
  • Inclusive – we offer all our services as inclusive, being able to make adaptations for individuals as required.
  • Collaborative – we will work with education, community groups, businesses and individuals in a respectful and holistic way.

Like bees we cannot work alone.

The Bee Well Story

Bee Well Together was founded to offer early intervention support to children and young people who are struggling with their mental health. Our service is designed to offer support to children and young people who would not meet the criteria for specialist support services. Our educational sessions are therefore relevant to all.

Our name is inspired by the wonderful Bee. Bees work as a community serving a common goal.

Like bees when managing mental health, we cannot do it alone. We need a community or network of support around us. Bee Well Together was developed on this very premise. Providing a community to offer support and guidance to children, young people and their families in order to promote positive mental health, because together we can make a difference.

I am delighted that we have had Helen and Becky twice now. They are so approachable, so knowledgeable and really accommodating to the needs of the school and pupils attending. I cannot recommend this team and their work enough as it has had a direct impact on our pupils, and I am so appreciative of this. I will definitely be looking to have them back again next year (more than once) if they have space for us.

Thank you for the work you do and the way in which you do it. Your service is very much needed right now, and you make a difference to the children you support – thank you from all of us here.

Becky and Helen have been very accessible throughout their time in school. From the initial consultation they were supportive towards staff and children. They have answered all questions promptly and given advice to staff when we have needed it.

Thank you for helping me to understand that everything I feel is normal.

My child really enjoyed attending the group each week. It was a lovely space for her to be open about how she was feeling but to also feel reassured that she is not alone with her feelings.
